The Gaming Outsider

The Gaming Outsider Podcast is a show dedicated to video gaming of all kinds with a focus on the community. Here at The GO, we don't subscribe to just one platform, and we realize that we don't have the ability to play every game that's out there. Our goal is to discuss ours and our listener's perspectives on current and former games that we have played while keeping a positive environment.

This week on The Gaming Outsider, we go to our community to discuss the recent news of 50 Cent's desire to make another video game. What would we love to see out of THAT game? Did any of us actually like any of the titles from 50 Cent's gaming endeavors? We have fun exploring the possibilities and give our community's thoughts as well.

In new this week, we discuss Polygon starting a big rumor about Microsoft potentially purchasing EA Games and other major studios. Will we really see Microsoft acquire such a large company such as Valve? We give our thoughts on this controversial rumor that stirred up the industry recently.

Nintendo's latest Zelda title is on its way to becoming the best selling game in the franchise. Also, Nintendo announces the launch date of their new online service plus a few other surprises.

Games we discuss this week are as follows:

  • Dragon Ball FighterZ
  • Monster Hunter World

Josh also gives details on a new Subnautica challenge by facing his fears of the ocean and giving the game a shot -- all while streaming it live for your viewing pleasure!
